Tally Wild Subscription, Free Trial and Refund Policy

Tally Wild costs $399 per year, billed once a year in advance, and renews automatically until you cancel. New accounts can try it free for 14 days with the limits below. This Subscription, Free Trial and Refund Policy is part of the Tally Wild Terms of Service.

Plain-language summary

If you have Founding Pilot (299), BetaTester(100) or another discounted price shown at checkout, you are charged that price wherever this policy says $399.

1. Free trial

• Each person and each business may use one free trial. Opening more accounts, using other emails, or using other payment cards to get more trials is not allowed, and we may cancel those accounts.

• You must enter a payment card to start the trial. We will not charge it during the 14 days.

• When the trial ends, your subscription starts and your card is charged $399 automatically, unless you cancel before the end of day 14. Your sign-up confirmation email and your account page show the exact date and time the trial ends. That email also repeats these renewal terms and explains how to cancel online before you are charged, in a form you can keep.

• We will email you a reminder 7 days before the trial ends, with the date and amount of the first charge and a link to cancel.

• If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged. Trial work stays in your account for 14 days after the trial ends, then may be deleted.

• During the trial, the program reads your photos and videos on your own device (computer, tablet or phone). To build the trial report, the photos you put in it are uploaded at report size, the same as on the yearly plan; if the trial ends without a subscription, those photos and the trial report are deleted 14 days later. It reads up to 25 photos or videos per analysis (we may change this number and will show the current limit on the sign-up page, and a change does not apply to a trial already started). The trial report is the PDF and the interactive map, both marked "TRIAL"; share links, website publishing, the zip and the onX, Google Earth, Moultrie and spreadsheet files come with the subscription.

• Trial limits are enforced by the software. The trial includes one analysis, with one pin file and one property line. Work made during the trial carries a "TRIAL" mark. After you subscribe, build the report again for a copy without the mark.

2. Yearly subscription and automatic renewal

• The subscription is $399 per year, charged at the start of each yearly term. Prices do not include sales tax, which is added where required.

• Before you start a trial or pay, the checkout page shows the price, how often you are charged, that the subscription renews automatically until you cancel, and how to cancel, and asks you to agree to those terms. We keep a record of your agreement. By agreeing, you authorize us to charge your payment card for each charge this policy describes, and you are responsible for all charges made through your account.

• Your subscription renews automatically for another year at your current price, unless we change it with notice as described below, and your card on file is charged on the renewal date, unless you cancel before that date.

• We will email you a reminder 30 days before each yearly renewal, stating that it will renew unless you cancel, with the renewal date, the length of the renewal, the amount, a link to cancel online, and how to contact us.

• If we raise the price (other than a locked Beta Tester or Founding Pilot price), we will email you no more than 30 days and no less than 7 days before your renewal, with the new price, the date it starts, and how to cancel. The new price applies only from your next renewal.

• If a payment fails, we will try again over the next 14 days and email you. If it still fails after those tries, your subscription is canceled, any discounted price ends, unused AI credits are handled as described under AI check below, and section 5 applies.

Beta Tester and Founding Pilot pricing

• Beta Tester pricing ($100 per year) is by invitation only, for pilots we choose to help test Tally Wild.

• Founding Pilot pricing ($299 per year) is for the first 50 paid subscribers only. Once 50 spots are taken it is no longer offered, and a spot does not reopen when someone cancels.

• Your Beta Tester or Founding Pilot price stays the same at every yearly renewal for as long as your subscription stays active, even if we raise the standard price.

• If you cancel, or your subscription ends for any reason (including a failed payment that is not fixed), the discount ends for good. Signing up again is at the standard price in effect at that time.

• Each person and each business may get a discounted price only once. Using other accounts, emails or payment cards to get it again is not allowed.

• A discounted price cannot be transferred to another person or business.

Discount links and partner links

• We may send links or codes that take a percentage off the standard yearly price, either for the first year only or for every year while your subscription stays active. The discounted price and how long it lasts are shown on the checkout page before you pay, and on your account page. If a discount lasts only for the first year, the 30-day renewal reminder shows the full price that will apply at renewal.

• Some businesses we approve as partners share their own link. Signing up through a partner's link may give you a discount, and the partner earns a commission from us out of what we receive. It never raises your price.

• A discount is tied to the account that signed up with it. It ends for good if your subscription ends, cannot be added after you subscribe, is not combined with another discount unless the checkout page shows both, and cannot be transferred.

• We may stop offering a link at any time; this does not change a discount you already have.

Find a Pilot map listing

• A listing on the Find a Pilot map is included free while your Tally Wild subscription is active.

• Pilots without a subscription can list for $100 per year with a valid FAA Part 107 certificate number. Listings are checked against the FAA's public list or approved by hand; your card is charged only once the listing is approved. It renews yearly until you cancel, under the same reminder, cancellation and refund rules in sections 2, 3 and 4.

• Listed pilots who later subscribe to Tally Wild get $50 off their first year.

AI check (optional, pay as you go)

• AI check is not part of the yearly price. You pay only for the photos you check, from your AI credits; the price is shown before each check.

• Buck check (points, rack and age): $0.08 per photo checked.

• Animal check (what animal is in the photo): $0.01 per photo checked.

• The AI looks only at the big report photo you picked for each pin, or one photo you choose for a single pin. Pins without a picked photo are skipped and cost nothing. Running the check again on pins already checked in that analysis costs nothing; checking a different photo you choose costs the price of that photo.

• Each photo checked costs its price even when the AI can't find or identify anything in it, for example because the animal is small, blurry, out of focus or hidden in cover. The app warns about this before every check; pick a sharp, close photo or draw a zoom box around the animal first.

• AI credits are bought in packs of $20, $50 or $100 and carry over from analysis to analysis until they run out. You can also turn on auto-refill in Settings › AI check: when your credits are too low for a check, your saved card is charged $20 for more credits. Auto-refill is off unless you turn it on, we email a receipt for each refill, and you can turn it off at any time in the same place.

• If an AI check cannot run because of a problem on our side, the charge goes back to your AI credits.

• Unused AI credits stay in your account while your subscription is active and do not expire. Refunds of unused credits are in the next six points.

• Within 30 days of buying a pack, if none of that pack was used: full refund on request.

• While your subscription is active, after those 30 days: no cash refund; the credits stay yours to use.

• When your subscription ends, either at the end of a paid year after you cancel or after a payment that isn't fixed: half the value of your unused paid credits is refunded to your card within 30 days.

• If we close your account without cause, or stop offering AI check: full refund of unused paid credits.

• If we close your account for breaking these terms, fraud or a chargeback: no refund.

• Free or promotional credits (for example beta credits) have no cash value and are never refunded.

• Sales tax is added where required.

3. How to cancel

• Cancel anytime online: Account › Billing › Cancel subscription. It takes one click to confirm, and you get a confirmation email. This works the same way during a free trial.

• You can also cancel by emailing contact@skyzthelimitllc.com from your account email.

• When you cancel a paid plan, you keep full access until the end of the year you paid for. It will not renew after that.

4. Refunds

• Because you can try Tally Wild free for 14 days before paying, yearly fees are not refundable once charged, except as stated here or where the law requires a refund.

• If you forgot to cancel and email contact@skyzthelimitllc.com within 7 days of a renewal charge, and you have not created a new analysis since the renewal, we will refund that renewal in full.

• If we close your account without cause, or the Service is unavailable for more than 7 days in a row because of us, we will refund the unused part of your paid year.

• Refunds go back to the original payment card, usually within 5 to 10 business days.

• Unused AI credits are refunded only under the AI check rules in section 2.

5. After your subscription ends

Your account becomes read-only. You can still log in and download your reports for 60 days. After that we may permanently delete your files. Shared report links stop working when the subscription ends unless you renew.
